Modular Table from Bike Furniture Design

Valerie Hoisington, the newest addition to LRM Interior Design’s team, was unsurprisingly drawn to this table from Bike Furniture Design.

“My husband is a bicycle designer, so this table caught my eye,” explains Valerie. “I think it would look fantastic in a game room or even a home gym.”

Bike Furniture Design’s founder Andy Gregg has been perfecting his craft since 1990. Another aspect of Gregg’s business that LRMID likes is how he has embraced the concept of “reuse.”

Not only does BFD use recycled bicycle parts in their furniture, items from other modes of transportation are incorporated into their designs, for instance glass from commuter trains and seat belt webbing to create upholstery.

  1. Hey, great idea reusing and recycling products to create new ones.

I love it, and might actually have to get myself one of these.
