Who says that good design has to cost a lot of money? Not Kravet.
The furniture and fabric company Kravet has introduced kravetsmart, a new brand which sets out to prove that beautiful interior design doesn’t have to cost the earth.
Kravetsmart will offer fabrics and trimmings, called “smartfabrics,” will be offered in a full spectrum of textures, patterns and colors. The brand’s “smartweaves” will launch with a set of six color books featuring the palettes Pebble and Pepper, Cocoa and Sangria, Turquoise and Seaspray. (read the rest of this post…)

LRM Interior Design’s Laguna Beach office has been hiding the lovely designer Kari Seydewitz – no longer! For this week’s Inspiration, Kari has discovered a product that covers two topics close to her heart: beautiful fabric and ecological sensibility.
Calvin Fabrics is an Oregon-based fabric supplier whose goal for over 55 years has been to be a designer’s resource for all types of fabrics, from chenilles to silk, from damasks to tapestries.
But now Kari has discovered their latest offering – a product so new it isn’t even on the Calvin Fabrics website yet: an eco-friendly line of linen fabric. (read the rest of this post…)
